创作背景

2005年12月，贾斯汀·汀布莱克在美国弗吉尼亚的托马斯皇冠工作室完成《SexyBack》的录制。

2005年12月，贾斯汀开始第二张专辑《FutureSex/LoveSounds》的工作，而《SexyBack》在不到一天的时间内就录制完成，歌曲的编曲是吉米·道格拉斯用PRO tools完成的。

在录制的前一天，贾斯汀和Timbaland受到了大卫·鲍伊的《Rebel Rebel》和The Rapture的《House of Jealous Lovers》的启发，贾斯汀认为演唱这首歌与大卫·鲍伊和Talking Heads主唱大卫·伯恩在演唱詹姆士·布朗的《Sex Machine》一样。
